SCHOLARSHIP TERMS

Awards are non-transferable and unused funds should be returned to the Dream Seed fund, with exceptions granted at the discretion of the Dream Seed Team in cases of hardship or extenuating circumstances. Applicant should contact the YFM Coordinator if they withdraw from the event.

Description

UGLR awards scholarships to individuals for attendance at Y.O.U. and Uniteen events, as well as to churches to assist with transporting youth to events.

Ministries seeking scholarships to subsidize costs for teens to participate in Youth of Unity or Uniteen events must complete this Ministry Dream Seed Scholarship Application. It may take up to 6 WEEKS to process this application.

Eligibility: Anyone applying for a scholarship must
1. be an active member of Unity Great Lakes Region or be an active member of a Unity Ministry in the Great Lakes Region. Refer to the Unity Great Lakes Region Bylaws for definition of active member
2. have the support of their Unity Minister, Spiritual Leader and/or Board President.

Each Applicant applying for an individual scholarship should fill out their own application (if youth application, either parent/guardian or teen fills out). The Ministry Contact (e.g. YFM Director) completes the application for transportation cost support.
