Thursdays 11AM (ET) / 10AM (CT)
DIGITAL TOOLS FOR MINISTRY
A four-part workshop series for anyone who keeps a ministry running — ministers, administrators, communications staff, volunteers, and lay leaders. Whether you're managing everything solo or supporting a small team, these practical sessions will help you work smarter with simple, accessible tools.
All sessions are 11am ET / 10am CT and offered for Free via Zoom (link sent in confirmation email)
Session 1: Website Fundamentals - Thursday, July 9
Your website is the first door a seeker walks through. In this session we'll talk about what belongs on a ministry website, what doesn't, how to design for the visitor who has never heard of you, and two platforms — one free, one low-cost — that work well for small ministries.
Session 2: Admin Tools That Work - Thursday, August 13
Discover the free and discounted tools available to nonprofits that can save your ministry time and money. We'll cover TechSoup, Canva for Nonprofits, and Google Workspace — and how to put them to work for your ministry without a big budget or a tech background.
Session 3: E-Newsletters That Connect - Thursday, September 10
Your e-newsletter is one of the most effective tools you have for staying connected with your community. We'll cover design, length, frequency, subject lines, welcome emails, automation, and platform options — so your newsletter actually gets opened and read.
Session 4: Getting the Most from Your Database - a Dive into BREEZE - Thursday, October 1
Breeze is much more than a database. In this session we'll explore tags, volunteer groups, forms, the events calendar, online directory, giving, and communication tools — so you can get more out of a platform you may already be using.
